Starting Two A Days

Maybe…

I did an early morning run of 1 and 1/2 laps while walking the final 1/2 lap.  It was tough to get my body going.  Also I have a gym workout this afternoon.

I am looking to see if I can fit it into my schedule on Tuesdays and Fridays since I drive to work.  I would also like to work out in the morning on Thursdays.

Still need to work on my marathon training schedule.  Maybe I will hit it this weekend.

If I can keep my weight under 250 after tomorrow’s workout, then I would say I am officially back to the shape I was in early December.  It is amazing that it took 4 months to completely heal.  I have no more excuses.

Well deserved rest day

Whoa, after accomplishing some major I needed a little bit of wind down.

This one was well deserved.

My body kind of needed a break but more so my mind.  After a crazy day yesterday, I needed a breather.  So I jogged a slow 1 lap and walked another.

Feeling real good.  Think about this, so far this month I have weight over 250 twice.  I feel something special.

I had a bad day

Today was a crappy day, I was mean, I kept getting interrupted for BS reasons, one of my hard drives crashed.

Geez, I need this day to end.

But I did channel some of that anger into a pretty aggressive workout video.

I need this day to end though, start afresh tomorrow.  Tomorrow is a light day and I need it.

Gym workout is not so bad

I worked out in the gym today.  I was expecting a rough workout because I had such excellent workouts the past few days, so I thought I was on the tired low side of things.  But what got me through was the excellent sleep I have had the past few days.

I guess the triangle of Workout – Nutrition – Rest does matter.

I am surprised at my weight as well, thought it would be higher.

Can’t seem to break 250

I switched my 1000 calorie workout from Wednesday to Monday.

So I burned 1110 calories also felt really weak.  Recall I had some good workouts the past few days.

I would say today was a good workout as well.  Tomorrow will be a less but still pretty hard.

Still can’t break 250.

Wow, nailed it

What an Easter Gift.

I am getting faster.  Also I think a warm up walk of 1 lap does the trick.

A new 2 lap record.  I really did feel my legs flying

Two Lap: 23:37.72

What a super run.  I was breathing well (thanks to a generic claritin) and I wasn’t too tired from yesterdays excellent run.

At first I was getting nervous cause I felt some pain in my left foot creeping in.  Still this is official and a record.

Another cool thing today is I can eat meat again.

As for the weightm 1 more day then I am officially under 250.

Awesome Sleep + Awesome Weight = Awesome Run

After days, almost 2 weeks of weird sleep, last night I finally got a good sleep.

I did a warm up walk of 1 lap then I started my run which I timed at 45:54 which is pretty darn good considering my record is 45:07.

I ended up with another lap.  I know I started at about 5:15PM and I completed at about 6:45PM.   I think I lot of time was in the first lap but I did nearly 6.5 miles (maybe more) in 90 minutes.  Double that and I will have done the half marathon.

As for my weight, oh so close to the 246.6 record.

Good Friday

I fasted today.  The only thing I had was water and The Host from church.

Since I did not eat, I have eased off on my workout.   Really light one today.

I was feeling really weak at work but I got my second wind now.  In a few hours it will be Saturday and I will get something to eat.

Also, in less than 36 hours, I will be able to eat meat again.  A lot of people are expecting me to eat a big fat Juicy steak.

Epic Exhaustion

OK maybe not epic, but this is one of those rare times that I just had it.  I got home did a few things then had this huge huge headache.

Not as bad or worrisome like the one I mention in the about section of my blog.  But so brutal I stopped and went to bed.

That was about 7PM, got up at 10:45 and feel so much better.

Had a decent workout in the gym today though.  Tomorrow will be intresting and can’t wait to report on it.

This is Holy Week, also my son’s birthday was today, so my schedule has been all out of whack

Monday – Worked out indoors (hail)

Tuesday – Gym

Wednesday – Easy workout/rest day

Thursday – Gym

Friday – Easy workout/rest day/Fasting

Saturday – 4plus run

Sunday – meat OK again

Anyway, I feel heavier than what the scale says.  I would guess I was really 255
