Another Slow Day

Well, my foot is feeling better but still hobbling along.

The only way to keep weight done is through diet alone.  So I have to be careful what I eat.

I think last day to heal

My left foot feels a lot better.  I highly suspect this swelling was triggered by something I ate, which is gout related, the cold weather, my lowered immune system due to a cold I have, the record cold weather, and maybe the stepped pine cone I did a week ago.

It does feel better, so I think I will be back to something more aerobic than just pushups and situps.

This weigh in was again done at night with more clothing than usual after dinner.

What a setback

This foot issue I am having is a huge setback.

I can’t workout, I barely can do pushups and situps. 

Hopefully this will get better in the next 48 hours and I will be running normally again.

Don’t look too much into the weigh in, it was at night after dinner with no workout.  Basically the heaviest moment of the day.

Sore Left Foot

So its been a bad day.  My left foot is now swollen, I think it is something I ate combined with the cold weather that caused this which I think may be gout.

If that is the case it will be couple days before I can run again.

Monster is slain

Today is the day. FINALLY, that 250 mark has been cracked and I can say I am less than 250 pounds.  Although no miletstones were met, I still want to call this one a milestone because it was so hard to achieve and it spanned 4 days.

I did not work out yet today.  My left foot is hurting quite a bit.  But still met the crititeria.  So I will enjoy today.

Too Cold To Run

Today I did not run outside due to safety issues.  Recall that my left foot is in a little pain, more on that in a bid, so running on a sidewalk or road where it is slippery for both car and runner is not  good idea.  Instead, I did some aerobic video, and called it that.

So I stepped on a pine cone a few days ago when I was running in the dark and it really hurt my left foot.  I thought it was going to go away, but lately it has been in pain.  I think it may be gout triggered not by my diet but possibly by the cold weather.  I have been eating well so it is hard for me to accept that it is my diet.  But it could be.

Anyway, I am posting this late Saturday,  I am extremely optimistic and cracking 250 tomorrow.  It will be the fourth day I will be under 250 and it is a weekend, so I would have met my criteria.

Holy Smokes, Talk about Milestones

Wow, after struggline to crack 250 I really nailed it.  I must say tracking your consumption is the magic that did it.

I knew going into my workout I was going to crack 250 again because I did weigh in at 249.  But I did not know my workout was going to be this successful.

Today is a two a day as well.  A Four Plus in the morning which I ran in 48:34 in full cold gear.  So I was heavy and I did sweat a lot.  My weight in all those without shoes was 254.6

This afternoon I have a Jillian Michaels workout with Stephanie.

Also this is a double milestone, the first I crack 250 in consecutive days.  So just 2 more days and I am officially under 250 and I will buy another rice bag for my desk.  With this weigh in, 240 is absolutely doable by year end.

Whoa, I think this is the week

Judging by today’s weigh, I think this 4 day run will be the run that will put me under 250 permanently.  I am starting to see the positive effects of tracking my diet.

I mentioned 4 days w/ at least one of them being a weekend.

Today’s weigh in is my official weigh in.  But I did weigh in again at night and it was higher but still under 250, just barely 249.8.  Then I ate dinner so I am sure I am above 250 by now.  Hopefully I can make it though.  Tomorrow I want to do a 4+ in the morning but my left foot was hurting.  Some medication mitigates the pain though,

Worked out in gym today

A little late post but still OK.

I went to work early today and worked out in the gym there.  I burned a little over 1000 calories.  Add to that the 2 miles of walking for the bus and I was in negative calorie category in thedailyplate.com.  That site takes a lot of work but it does the job.  Although I almost forgot to post here.

I got a really good feeling with this weekend.

Last month of the year

Wow almost end of the calendar year.  A lot has happened since.  Got to admit, blogs are an incredible resource. 

I had a pretty good two lap run despite having a cold and wearing a lot of clothes.  Time was 24:47.61, the second best time so far.  The best time will be a tough one to beat.

Anyway I won’t make 225 by end of year.  Its too much, more than 5 lbs a week.  Not with all the food and junk in the way.  But 240 is possible.
