I pulled some decent sweat on the stationary bike today, I burned 318 calories in 20 minutes. I then went on the elliptical for 10 minutes and burned 89 additional calories.
It was a struggle on the elliptical but it was a good start.

Today I went snow tubing. Was a fun and physically demanding when your going back up the hill hauling a tube.
So that will be my workout for the day. I am did sweat a lot.
But the good news is that my foot did not hurt as bad as I thought. I will let my foot rest one more week before working up my workout schedule.

Foot also feels so much better, barely limping. New meds are doing its job. I will be back on my normal workout schedule in a week. I hope.

I just read that Stephanie is going to run the Seattle Half Marathon with me, and even Abbie expressed interest. I am shocked. But I felt extremely good.
During my workout in the gym, I feel like my sweat and strength is coming back. I had to think twice about jumping on to the treadmill again. My workout, although not as intense as in the past, is progressing.

Well almost. I can go up and down steps. It hurts a little but I feel I can do it.
Maybe next week I can run lightly again.

But for both feet, I cannot tippy toe solely (pun intended) on my left foot like I can on my right.
I did have a decent workout today, not as much sweat as before, but the most sweat since gout kicked in. I am going to take it easy tomorrow. I am hopeful that I will be running again in a week albiet not as for nor fast.
I am sad about my current weight but it is weird that since I started doing more meaningful workouts, my weight has gone up. So hopeful it is muscles that are coming back.

I went to my buddy Rob’s place last night for a party. Although I drank considerably less than I have in the past, I think it did not do me any good for my gout.
So until at least when my foot heals or even till I run the marathon, I will stay away from alcohol.
Also I think it added some weight.
