Some workouts I cannot do

I was supposed to run today but got home late and tried out a new aerobic video and noticed something, there are some workouts my body just can not do.

What’s even more weird is that I can do it on one side of my body and struggle with the other side.  I do noticed that one of my weaknesses is is my left knee.  Also another thing is my thighs (they are grotesquely big).

So maybe I will begin focusing on those weaknesses and looking ways to strengthen those exercises.

Also started a new supplement, fish oil, for Omega 3.  So before I started this workout I was taking nothing daily, now I take allopurinol, 2 multivitamins, and fishoil.  Also not daily but almost regularly take ibuprofen.

How my weigh flux

It’s been a while since I could do this but now that I’m feeling OK I will try to see the difference in weight before I go on my 4+ run.

I will be weighing with my standard shorts, t-shirt, and underwear.

My weight started off at 254.8, that was after the AM bathroom break but before I take in anything.

The morning Protein drink with vitamins and stuff added almost a pound, which landed me at 255.6

I finished my run today in 51:36.  Not bad, I am happy with it, since last week I ran it in 54:43.  But my weight is disappointing, last week I mentioned I felt heavier than what was listed.

Today, this official weight is how I really feel.

Foot as good as it will get

During my workout I noticed something with my left foot, it did not hurt, at all.

After the workout it did hurt, I am beginning to think that this is the best my foot will be, the endorphins either masked the pain or my foot tightens up when at rest.

I am going to have an extra good rest tonight cause I got a big day tomorrow.  Also gonna take another serving of whey to get more protein in me.  I barely was able to curl the 30lb weight.  Which is weird cause I used to be able to.

Not much news today

Just a simple rest day.  I did take the bus to work which added 2 miles to the 1 mile run and 1 mile walk I had this morning.

Weigh in was late so it is a little elevated.

Another 1000 calorie workout

Actually it was almost 1100, just 0.5 shy.

I was on the treadmill for 252 then the bike for 291 and back on the treadmill for 556.5.  So close but you know those numbers aren’t accurate anyway.  So I will say the sweat and awesome feeling after my workout is worth it.

Weigh in was late today, I think could have been lighter if was in the morning after my huge workout.  I can’t weight to see my weight Saturday after my 4+.

One week of not meat

Haha, made it through 1 week.

I had lunch today and ordered a tofu meal.  The reaction amongst by the waitress was funny, like she did not believe I was ordering a tofu meal.  My fellow lunchmates had a good laugh as well.

Also worked out with my buddy Rob.   He reminds me of myself when I was starting, trying things out, see what I would be comfortable with.  I’m sure he will find something he likes after a few gym tries.

Another Kick Butt workout

I worked from home today and got a chance to take a lap.  Actually 2 laps one of which was a run the other a walk.

The run clocked in at 13:36.41 and I knew I was going to do the aerobics video for the first time on Months (note a trend here of resuming my prior workouts)

Got my butt kicked again which is good but I did feel really sore in my left foot.  There were some movements that I simply could not do.

Anyway, still got some workout in and decent one at that.

Tomorrow my buddy Rob is going to work out with me in the gym at work.  He said he will, we’ll see.  More tomorrow.

Good Time Today

If there was any indicator that I am getting back to form it is from today’s run.  I have to still note that my foot still hurts but I was able to get in a pretty decent run.  The last time I ran this route was December 1, almost 3 months ago, and my time was 24:47.61.  Today is nothing to be ashamed of, 25:43.59.

I want to claim that I am up to speed again, but that wouldn’t be entirely true.  Also like I mentioned earlier, I am not 100%, more like 90%. I am thinking of doing a 2 lap again tomorrow, but I don’t think it will be as fast.

Weigh in was late again, so it is elevated.

Perfect day to get run

It was a nice to to go for a run.  I decided to take another shot at a 4+ and it did not disappoint not a great time, 54:53, but a decent one since I am running again.  At this rate I should be able to complete the half marathon in the allotted time.

Before I ran I reset my watch and saw an interesting time in my last 1 lap.  13:56.42  Has all the numbers from 1 to 6.

This weight is progress.  I feel heavier than this weight but I will take it.

Too Late to work out

I ran this morning and was hoping t o add a gym workout.

Anyway, got busy so I will have to be OK with just the run.

I forgot to time it but felt it was a good run.
